This is my first test with my new Glidecam 4000 Pro w/ vest & arm. The footage was shot with a Sony Z1U, edited and color corrected in FCP Studio 2... also added a soft blur filter. I know it's not very good, but it's not perfectly balanced yet and I'm still trying to figure the thing out. More to come hopefully! Any comments and suggestions are appreciated.

  • It seems the new DSLR's are a little easier to manage on these Glide-cams. We use a Fx1 with Glide-cam 4000 w/ arm and if its not perfectly balanced it can be awful shaky. Check out some of our videos up on our channel!

  • Good results allready!

try also overcranck , f.e. 1280/720 50p ( or 60p) to 25 i in cinema tools with makes this really smooth

  • Good effort, im just waiting for my 400 to put on my smooth cam and use the Sony z5.

If i get anywhere near this ill be happy.

  • kl thnx

  • thats so sweet... it looks like your flying!
