John Lennon's assassination by Bill Kurtis

This clip comes from "We Interrupt This Broadcast" by Bill Kurtis. I tried to show a progression with the images from being (obviously) alive and full of energy to his blood stained glasses looking out over Central Park. Enjoy everyone.

Wait a minute... In an interview Mark David Chapman said he fired 5 shots, and in the police report they said he had been hit at least 8 times. Chapman used a revolver which ordinarily only holds 6 bullets in the first place. Gotta wonder if he acted alone? Lennon was dispised by "Big Brother."

John was shot 4 times in the left side of his back and his left shoulder. The slugs were hollowpoint bullets which seriously disrupt tissue as they travel through the human body. John had 7 total wounds because of the bullets that exited the front of his body. The fifth shot missed over John's head and hit a window of The Dakota. Trust me, Chapman acted alone.

Chapman never said "Mr Lennon" before shooting Lennon. This information has been repeated over and over in books and film and it was never said. Chapman said nothing before he fired and court documents support this as well as interviews with Chapman..

The evidence is contradictory. Some eyewitnesses commented that he said it, James T. Sullivan (an NYPD detective who gave a press conference about the murder) mentioned it during the press conference, but Chapman himself has said he didn't say it. But he's already a little nuts so who knows? I personally believe that he didn't say "Mr. Lennon!", but I think it's certainly plausible that he could have. Obviously, but I mean maybe he just doesn't realize it. Whatever though.

...if "they'd" make peace profitable, they wouldn't have to keep killing those who oppose death and murder, those who promote life and love (which is what we all gravitate towards, most of us aren't violent otherwise we'd truly live in a constant state of chaos, which we generally don't)...one day, we'll be hunting down those who oppose peace as vigorously as they murder US...

Sullivan mentioned it during the press conference immediately after the murder when their was total chaos. Who were the eyewitness's? Only Yoko, Jose the doorman and Chapman witness the shooting and none of them are on record as saying "Mr Lennon". Interesting info, Chapman said Yoko hid behind the outside partition after the first shot were fired. I only replied 5 months later because 2 dicks gave me thumbs down on my first comments :)
