@46spoony I didn't said that I favour Jap's or that I agree with what they have done, no way...I just said that you can't, wathever sombody did to other, say that you would like to kill or destroy him...because you will just make things worst with that...

In 1937 the japs invaded the Chinese city of Nanking. They tortured, mutilated and murdered 10's of thousands of Chinese soldiers. They then raped and murdered thousands and thousands of Chinese girls and women. Some pregnant women had their fetuses cut out while they were still alive. The Japanese routinely tortured and murdered American soldiers who had surrendered in battle, sometimes beheading or disembowling them.

The US actually did not commit "many war crimes" in WW2. Put "the rape of Nanking" in your web browser and get back to me.
-
@46spoony Not to mention... The US also committed many war crimes coming close to the Japanese and Germans, making relocation camps and spreading racist movements throughout the US. At times like these i feel a longing for the past, when people actually had common sense and respect for others. So get off your computer for once, and actually learn something decent.

@HaggenPagan26 also the japs had severely underestimated the marines
After watching flags of our fathers and comparing it makes you realize that nobody really wins in war

As an American, watching this movie was very moving and humbling. The Japanese fought with great courage, resolve, and remained steadfast despite a bleak horizon. It is demoralizing to see the destruction of the lives of young men--both Japanese and American--but heartening now to see the two countries prosper and enjoy a healthy relationship. May God bless Japan, the USA, and the soldiers that gave their lives for their respective countries.
