Snuff bottle is mainly used during Tsagaan Sar = Mongolian Lunar new year.
Mostly elders use it.
I know that Mongolian, Manchu, Tibetian and India use it.

Chinese make snuff bottles as souvenir. Today the main country & pp who uses snuff bottle as tradition are Mongolians. It was popular in China during Manchu rule.
Presently if you have reached 30 or 40 and if you still don`t have a snuff bottle during Tsagaan Sar you feel like you are a female.
In Mongolia even women started to carry it.
