This is my tribute to this amazing band called The Beach Boys, and especially to the music genious Brian Wilson who composed this masterpiece and many others.
Since it is a "cover" instrumental version I decided to add another intro to the song. (As I am Brazilian, the new intro has a Brazilian feeling).
It was recorded in my apartment on April 2011, using a condenser mic and the following instruments:
Harmony and Melody:
-Electric guitar used for the melody and also to emulate many other instruments used in the original version such as: bass, accordeon, trombone, and so on)
Percussion (nothing professional):
-a Wood dresser (side for the kick sound and top for the snare sound)
-a plastic Milk jug
-Jingle Bells
-Egg shaker
