lol, the ending xD

oops, no right to use expressions?
please explain. Such a rare opinion is easy to slip into the blind spot.
-
Also, I have a right to my opinion, and my opinion is that you have no right to use any expressions.

I hadn't noticed the whole conversation about the use of the word truth (from what I gather), I was more refering to not using the underhanded tricks and fallacys Creationists use. We can dumb what we teach down a little bit as needed, and try to come to a common language, but we do have to plant the flag, say "this is where we stand", and not move until it's proven we're wrong.

Its not about stooping down, its about being able to open up discussion with the faithfull. Using words they are familiar with instaed of the "mombojumbo"that siencespeak is to them, increases the chance they will actually listen to the argument.
Its a kin to teaching Newtian physics, we know it not the best or current "ruling" theory on the cosmos. Still we teach it.
And finaly( this started over the use of a single word)
I claim the unalienable right to use any word or expresion I choose.

But in stooping to their level by using loaded emotional claims to the point of unfairness, we help comfirm to them that underhanded lies and tricks are ok.

We must face up to the fact that we can not change every mind the way we want. Seince is hard to a lot of people, and some will not get it. Those people can only be "coverted" to sience.
It's a shame how we try to hold "the intelligent highground" and then faill in talking to the faithfull because we speak a different language.
There is nothing wrong in using loaded words to get the message acros. The meaning of a word isn't absolute. The meaning is adjusted by the cotexst it find itself in.
Your point is well taken, but we should hold our ground. If consciousness is to raised we must keep consistent with one another. Let us send a clear message and raise them up to us rather than we descend into the mire.
"Truth" is a word for children and the faithful.
The "new atheists" of our age everyday reach a wider audience, let's keep strong to our principles and educate rather than capitulate.
cheers!

You don't get it. It's not about being popular. It;s about people trying to censor videos that don't agree with their world view. You are the one complaining without understanding the topic at hand.
