Raising Ducks and Geese

Growing Up Goose (and Duck)! Just a video I made of my ducks (2 Cayugas and a Mallard, all drakes) and geese (Brown Africans) growing up, and as they are now. The Delaware hen and white Chinese goose were rescues; the Chinese goose has since been placed and I'm keeping the hen. I also ended up selling the female African, but don't worry, she went to a good home too. She'll be replaced by another soon enough, although my boy has always seemed to prefer my company, so he's happy either way.

I love that goose.

Thanks. There's a rooster that just came in (the shelter) last week that I intend to adopt, but I want to keep him there in quarantine for another week. She'll have a companion soon :)

The more I look at a these geese the more I imagine a dinosaur and it's scream- well after all birds evolved from reptilian - one of the most amazing evolution from a total different specie to another only it took a long time
