  • This is a textbook lesson on how to allow music to flow through the physical body. She had such tiny hands, but one would never know it from the way she plays. Gorgeous tone and understanding of style!

  • I am speechless! Her playing is perfection!

  • BELLISIMO!!!!

  • @DICACIO1...artistic standards would have to be drummed down several notches for Lang-Lang to ever be considered a "genius"...he's talented I'll grant you that, but there are MANY, many other pianist who easily outclass him, both technically and musically.

  • @Malcolm64 then you should also include Wolfie Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven and Federic Chopin, because i'm more than certain they each would had annoyed you if they had played for your birthday.... LOL

enough about Lang's expressions...he's a gawddamn genius! you can't play like him, can you?

  • She's equally as wonderful to watch as much as listen to...none of the grand and pompous facial gestures that are the trademark of lesser pianists (i.e., Lang Lang, the musical clown among pianists)...

  • @TikiFury When i first heard Albeniz i thought he was a follower of Debussy who had brought that composer´s amazing musical `colour´ some steps ahead. I was amazed to find that Albeniz was the influence on Debussy rather than the other way round. The sound-worlds he creates go beyond being Spanish - the national style is just a starting point for his greatest music.

  • the queen of Spanish piano music.

  • grandísima Alicia !!

  • How could this tiny woman play like this? So wonderful
