Dynomighty began with one product, the link-less magnetic bracelet. After the chance discovery of several Rare Earth (NdFeB) magnets coming together nearly 10 years ago I launched Dynomighty. While this product had also launched us to YouTube fame with our first video posted over 4 years ago reaching 3,957,594 views today we have come to the end of an era.

Today Dynomighty is announcing we are moving away from our line of Magnetic Jewelry and will phase out sales of the product entirely by the end of 2011. Thanks to the education of the Alaska Conservation Foundation we have learned about the devastating environmental effects that mining for Rare Earth magnets is causing and we are moving away from selling the magnetic jewelry line.

Its hard to imagine that the product that launched Dynomighty is now going to fade out of our product line but I look forward to improving our company and our products while trying to do better for the environment and our collective future.

Hmmm, should I be keeping this bracelet away from electronics, ie: laptops, computers, and TVs?

@MrOreogasms As a good rule of thumb we recommend keeping the jewelry closed (no open ends) and keeping the pieces 3-4 inches from any sensitive materials. In daily wearing with regular use of a computer or cell phone we experienced no adverse effects on any of these devices or recording materials. We do not recommend placing the magnets directly onto any computer, computer screen, or magnetic recording device.

it was a great buy for the first two days, then the coating started to severly chip off on edges which makes it ugly and now it rubs of on my fingers, was this a defective one, what do?

just got my dynomighty bracelet today after watching the video - I'm an obsessive filddler so I hoped this will help isolate the itch!

The bracelet is heavier than I thought it would be, which is a positive. Also, these magnets are real earth magnet (not man made) and it's the same ones that are used in computer hard drives (which means they're good quality and very strong).
