you made me want to try this, so i tried yesterday, i was totally baked and played street fighter 3rd strike while i made beats.
if you're under osx try MAMe for Mac if you wanna play some old school arcade games.

I noticed that as you lifted up the Monome, the sound changed... How did you configure it to do that? What is inside the unit that makes that happen?

@dynamicdavid Yes your right there is a tilt sensor inside the Monome similar to the one in the iPhone. Basically I can route what ever I want to that sensor and in this particular example I routed the Filter Cutoff.

What software are u running ?

@Quekil830 The main software I'm running for the music is Ableton Live. beside that I'm running max/msp for the Monome app called Polygome and another software called Multicontrol to convert the massages the arcade stick is sending into midi massages.

Haha, so cool! Never seen anything like that. Altho, you really should be using that stick to play Border Down instead. ;)

@lostSUND4Y the only thing I want is to play video games but I just don't have any console in the house so this is what I left with. :)
