  • Hello RugerSix!

Say, do you know WHY it is hard to get brand new .357/9mm Blackhawks now?

Also any idea why they did not make a S-Steel version?

I really would like to get the longer barrel version of this gun....NEW!

(Just so I can say that only *I* put all the rounds through it...haha!)

It looks to be a fun gun to shoot...AND you can shoot less expensive 9mm.

Thanks and don't forget a Christmas Special Video....haha!

    Take Care!

  • @OldDood WEll didn't know they were a problem to get??? No idea why no SS version either but that would be cool! They are lots of fun!

Christmas Special! LOL I'll see what I can do it's been real busy for me as of late! =)

  • Are there any problems with using the 9mm through the .357 barrel? 9mm is very slightly smaller in diameter...

  • @Makingnewnamesisdumb Not at all! The 9mm cylinder has a ridge in it which allows the 9mm round to fit snug. Lots of fun! Thanks for watching!

  • @rugersix I actually meant the barrel, not the chambers. Sometimes if a barrel is too big for your bullet your round may tumble in the air, from my understanding. Maybe in this case the difference isn't big enough to matter.

  • @Makingnewnamesisdumb Haven't noticed anything to serious other than accuracy is probably not the best...but for plinking its great fun!

  • @rugersix Wow. These days, where I live, you can get a new Blackhawk convertible .357 or .45 Colt, for $449 plus tax.

  • @rugersix

Thanks for the speedy reply. BTW: Bill's site is no more. It says it was closed.

Maybe you know this but, I thought I would pass that on.

Too bad you could not take your Alaskan to Israel to that range....hehe!

That would of woke a few people up there eh?

  • @absolutsoju Thank You...I nmeed to get it out and shoot it some more! I also have the Ruger New Vaquero in a 45 Colt loads of fun! =) Thanks for watching!

  • Nice blackhawk. I was strictly a semi auto guy until I tried a Vaquero. Now I want one of these things. Offhand, other hand in pocket, shooting steel.. Something really fun about that.
