  • We usually stick around the 43s... so for CW 7043, 14043 etc.

    For SSB 7243, 14243, 14343.

    But due to band condx you may find us anywhere.

  • @eogg25 Actually, his call was DL5MC but I missed it at first and replied DL5MC? (di-di-da-da-di-dit) thinking I missed the last letter of his call. When he came back to me and I heard his call again I realize it was a 2x2 call DL5MC.

  • @eogg25 I am working at it! Summer is my working time, since the metal in my body doesnt like the cold very well! I had a QSO last night and it was great! First one in a month due to work! gotta get on that!!! Thnx fer the push! 73

  • @toobroke2fight good job, but with 15wpm you should be able to get most of the msg,i bn ham 32 yrs bt with army cw oper background bt hve adv license bt hpe u get ur xtra bt get on HF 15 wpm gd a lot of hams will slow down bt i use 15 wpm all the time mks fer easy cpy bt listen to w1aw 7047.5 for practice cpy write a sheet out with ur info and important q signals and refer bk to it after making a qso it mks it easier, signals like qrm,qsl, qsb stuff like that. hve gud day hpe cu on HF 73 ka9hjz

  • @eogg25 TKS I will use the text and the video and try it out! I have kept with CW and i am doing around 15WPM with surges to 20WPM on gud days with a gud fist to copy! I am now known as KE7ZVJ and mostly do 2M voice and CW only! Once i hit 20WPM and do it easy ill get my x-tra ticket!! TKS

  • @toobroke2fight he sent, cq cq cq de w8cod dl5mcd answerd. w8cod said ur rst is 449 44n qth is clevland ohio in radio room of the uss cod. dl5mcd said ur rst is 479 47n his name is hal and he is from germany. it goes back and forth like that w8cod ends withuss cod 73 73 sk ee dl5 mcd came back and did the same. cq means calling any station, rst is signal report , 73 is best regards, sk means clear, tu means to you,rst means signal report. this is a condensed version
