Why not also ban something like martial arts? It's also something that is specifically designed to do harm, yet everyone only seems to think of it as a self-defense solution.

what would people kill with if there were no guns? anything else they could find.

the root of the problem isn't gun control, it's people's state of minds developed by their environment fabricated by those in power who feel it's appropriate for them to live lavishly while the majority is in poverty.

Better yet. . since people have been killing each other with about anything they can get their hands on since the dawn of time. . .to include rocks, clubs, poisons, knives, cliffs, water, cars, airplanes, fire, ropes, plastic bags, acids, etc, etc,

Why not just kill the humans??

you say a gun and a med kit are different, yet both are emergency services you rely on. my tools of being prepared aren't replacements for the emergency services, they're supplements. in case you never noticed, help doesn't arrive immediately.
