Love this video, especially how we can see the pace build through the half hour.

How fast did you average during this?

Awesome clip. I used to live in Grand Rapids and my mother still lives there and one of the fav things you can do in that town is ride ride ride. If I remember right Gaslight Village is in East Grand Rapids which is home to a former Pres. Just sayin.

Have you (or anyone) had experience with the GoPro mounted on bars and helmet? If so, what are the pros and cons of each, in your opinion?

@icramer We use the GoPro cameras on both the handlebars and helmet. Putting the camera on the helmet adds a bit of weight to the helmet and looks goofy but you have the ability to pan the camera. With wide angle lens the GoPro can catch almost everything while mounted to a helmet. The draw back is if you move your head a lot it might take away from your footage. Handlebar mounted is nice because the camera is fixed and predictable. You might want to use 60 fps to help with the fast motion.

@snipesnrifles I have the Ultegra CAAD10 and I swapped out the brakes to Shimano Ultegra in order to have Ultegra all the way around. It has been very reliable and has taken a season of crit racing very well.
