  • @stinky472 Yeah, it would have been nice to play Matrix cubed on the Megadrive.

  • This game is amazing. Truly emersive and expansive. A remake with the basic elements expanded would be epic, but playing the original can be challenging and rewarding. 5 stars unless your looking for adrenalin from a fps.

  • The game is amazing like all SSI Gold Box engine games released originally for DOS, Commodore, and Amiga. The graphics weren't very impressive even by the standards of the original hardware they were released on, but they made up for it with detailed writing about the scenes and encounters and multiple courses of action which often made the world seem richer than even the most graphically detailed 3D games today. It's worth noting that only one of the two GB BR games was released on Megadrive.

  • Tastosis made me do it!

  • I used to love this game.

  • I know exactly how you feel about this game. The infestation part at the very beginning, like kidcouscous said, really does suck you in. And Since the classes improved different skills which everyone could use, it allowed a lot of customization and experimenting.

Me and my friend used to play it, and the spaceship combat was intense. It was so fun when you got to the point where you could fly around and really rack up some money to buy the great equipment you could find on the random planets.

  • I loved this game, I'm moving countries so i'm having to flog it off, booohooo :(

  • I loved this game as a kid so glad I got it working on emulator on the Wii no less (homebrew) It gets really tactical later on when your fighting on the planets. Funny I found the amiga version very disapointing compared to mega drive.
