  • 5 stars,tks.

  • Thank YOU.

  • Is this an electric or acoustic recording? If its acoustic it is amazing. Also, are you using a vertical cartridge?

  • It is acoustic. I use a stereo cartridge (they move both vertical and horizontal) and rewire it to play the up and down motion in phase so it cancels some of the noise from scratches. Usually a stereo cartridge is wired to play horizontal motion in phase to be compatible with modern monophonic records.

  • Amen, but when we come back, it will be a perfect earth, with no sin.

  • well, it is true there will be some who will go with Jesus to heaven, being caught up in the air, 1st thessalonians 4:16-17. but not all Christians will get to go to heaven. but all Christians will be raised up to an everlasting life in the resurrection. its bible truth. Jesus said in mathew 5:5 " blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the EARTH." we have a wonderful future ahead if we live with Jehovah Gods day in mind.

  • tks folks, lovely gospel tune.

  • I love Ernest Stoneman's music! It's a shame that Edison didn't; he thought that anything which wasn't bland and and boring was bad music. I wonder how that DD would sound on an Edisonic.

  • Praise God!!!

  • wow, another important figure in the early years of Country Music. Later, he went to Bristol sessions in 1927. Thanks for adding another missing piece. I wish there was a site that listed the Edison records to find this date. That looks so pretty, so shiny and black. a magnetic cartridge does well on a 78, but then it is a Garrard.
