Republicans want to rush a bill before vacation? Hmm, this sounds awfully familiar. Weren't they just complaining about "jamming through" a bill before the 2009 August recess? No, it couldn't be, they would never stoop to such hypocrisy.

It's Pelosi logic, goes with the Pelosi math concerning the first 100 hours were everything would be solved. The took most of that time off and in two years did almost nothing

(cont) And like all fossil fuels, the only way to acquire it is to, uhhh...wait for it...DRILL, BITCH! To me, that was her "let them eat cake" moment. She is against drilling BECAUSE she's for drilling. These people are unbelievable--facts and logic simply don't exist in their universe.

You are so right. Speaking of M. Antoinette, I'm still reeling from the following Pelosi quote: "Im, Im, Im investing in something I believe in. I believe in natural gas as a clean, cheap alternative to fossil fuels. These investments in wind, in solar and biofuels and focus on natural gas, these are the real alternatives." This waste-of-perfectly-good-Botox is second in line to the Presidency and has no idea natural gas IS a fossil fuel.

There will be an energy bill after the elections when we weed out a few more Republicans in congress. They stopped every proposal brought up in the Senate, even ones with some republican support. Republicans in congress have balls to be demanding a vote on an energy bill when it was them who filibustered every bill. Their Drill Now campaign is simply a coverup to hide their constant blocking of everything, and will only end up helping big oil. It will not lower gas prices but pennies at best.

Call early. Call often.

I just spoke with one of the co-Directors of Hoosier Access (I'm a co-founder of the blog) and this was posted because they could not obtain better video. The cut-off was a technological error and Hoosier Access heartily endorses the actions of House Republicans yesterday.

Hey "HoosierAccess," how about posting the FULL clip? Just like the liberal media, always cutting things to make the Republicans look bad.
Hey folks - We were not quite fast enough on the "RECORD" button so the first second of Brian Williams' comments were cut off. He said "House Democrats and". Will ya cut us some slack? We're just a bunch of bloggers trying to make a difference and helping the GOP whenever we can. Now if we were flush with cash like the Main Stream Media supporting the Democrats then we can really get things done.
