It is good to hear from "across the pond" now and then! Happy belated Yule, and may your next Candlemas be one of 1000 candles!

As to "not having enough books", I lost mine during that little nasty called hurricane Katrina - all hand-penned. So, I have begun to re-script a few, carry a few on the shelf, and now, also, download from YT and keep on CD! I hope that you don't mind? Also, do write a little piece in the regional newspaper, so that those down here in "yawlsville" can learn. MMMPMMA!

i'm kinda jealous of the amount of books you have in comparison to me (all my money goes to my child as apposed to things i want)

I really like your video it's lovely when people share it can be so helpful to those looking for a helpful view. Yulemas is cute, my family does yule at our house on the solstice and go to our parents houses on christmas/boxing day and our daughter, as well us as celebrate christmas with our parents.

we also do the yulemas gig. we have our own traditions, and gift giving is a good thing as well. i loved this video. it sounds like we have similar traditions! one tradition my mom and i have always had is bying a cinnimon broom during this time of year. that next to our yule tree smells so wonderful. :) i do find it a little funny though how many pagan traditions have been turned into this commercialized holiday. so the rest are actually fitting in with us i think lol ;) blessed be!

Wow! Hot cross buns with cranberries! Yummy! I'm going to make some bread rolls with berries and raisins. They're lovely warm and the berries go all lovely and squidgy. I must remember to buy the berries next time I go shopping! Thanks for that reminder.

Right now my son and i are making cross buns some with cranberries some with raisins with orange & white icing but

whatever drops on the floor brave Artumis Anubis gets he's small but he has a big voice that's our dog

And even though he thinks cross buns are great...

he secretly waiting for the meat to hit the floor well i guess the secret's out because at this very moment he's guarding the kitchen he thinks we don't know hahaha
