@TurthanNatner Actually my first thought when I saw the trailer was that it would be a Fallout movie. That was also the thought of the people sitting behind me who gasped, "Fallout?"

Wow...when you listed off the movies it borrowed from...I realized that out of them I've only seen Independence Day. I've seen T2, Alien 3, the second half of Predator 2 on TV, and the two mash-up's of the previous two, but never that originals of any of these franchises.
