So funny! I didn't read ahead, and I was thinking "That LOOKS like Barbara Mandrell." LOL I ADORED Marty Robbins, and saw him in Pennsylvania, shortly before his death. What a sad day. He was such a unique talent, with a voice that was unequaled in Country Music. RIP, Marty. Hope to catch your big show in the sky someday ;) ~

I used to watch that unidentified woman's show every week in the early 80's.

The woman is certainly Barbara Mandrell but I think the guy is Elvis Presley or little Jimmy Dickens :)

Actually, this is one segment of Martin's tv show called 'Marty Robbins SPOTLIGHT' which Barbara Mandrell was the guest for this particular show. Martin had three tv shows on during his career, Spotlight, Drifter and the Marty Robbins Show. All were centered around music of course.

Barbara Mandrell, the lady in this clip, is one of the most talented performers ever to grace this planet!!! She has just performed a song herself, if you have seen the preceding sector of the show. I love it, the way she swoons, it only adds to Marty's singing!!!
