this is typical JJ abrams creation, simply awsome just like lost. when lost ends she should cleverly sldie some old characters from that show in here it would be insane.
Haha, I like how the monster is less realistic than, say, the guy who turned into a man-eating hedgehog. Or the people that were suspended in solidified gas.
I'm not trying to be derogatory here; I'm just pointing out that suspension of disbelief is a pivotal part of the show, as it was in X-Files.
But you're right, this episode was a bit of a hiatus from Olivia's issues and past plot lines. I still liked it.
And I think they got back to the lab within the hour to give Walter the antidote.
idk i just thought it was very separated from the part of the plot that seems to be running through the whole season.
i also found the monster thingy to be a little too unrealistic even for fringe. i mean...i like how Walter explained the whole bat thing and their plan to capture it made sense but it was too much.
also, did i forget or did they not tell us anything about Walter's condition with the poison?

He's behind the news lady when she's reporting about the "mountain lion" or whatever that serves as the front for the monster.

Love the show...every episode can't be about the big picture...so you have to have the side ones like unleashed.....still the best show on tv...
