Say i wanted to do a long exposure of the sea so it was smooth. how would i do that?

@BinghamVlogs sorry for getting back so late. This would require you to slow down your shutter speed to 1sec or more. You would have to compensate by lowering your ISO to its lowest setting (i.e. 50-100). Additionally you'll have to adjust your aperture accordingly (depends on how much ambient light there is).

@davidmogen This will depend on what lens you have and if you're using an external flash. Also are you shooting during day indoors or at night indoors? If you use the auto setting on your camera while shooting indoors it will most likely force your popup flash to fire. You'll need to use a wide aperture lens, such as a 1.8-2.8.
