Tootle I-ootle (cover)

My mom was 87 when she died. She taught me this song when I was a kid. She did not know who wrote the song; where it was written; or, when it was written. Sounds like an old mountain song. I can't find it on the web. Dose anyone klnow? Please advise. Steve Sr.
