Fireman62truck...You REALLY don't know what you are talking about. I own an 8th Gen as well as an EP3. Neither one has a "cat at the motor." Not to mention you further make yourself sound ignorant when you say ANY Civic has "headers." They only have ONE header.

That comment makes no sense. I'm not considering the header/cat as part of the "catback" system. (Hence the term CATback). I own an 8thgen SI, so why would I be talking bullshit? He said a catback is a waste of money..when the ONLY way to further mod the exhaust system would be to buy a header with a test pipe that replaces the cat.

@WhoLikesRice this guy is talking bullshit these civics run there cat up by engine so a catback for this car is a full exhaust run from headers down the back but i do know some civics run there cat half way which would not be a full exhaust set up and only half the pipe is replaced with catback but these civic run cats by engine bay

what do you mean "full?" The cat back replaces all piping up to the cat converter. The only way to further mod the exhaust is to get a racing header with a straight pipe. And by the sound of his car I would be willing to bet he has a header.
