Shree Mahalasa Temple at Goa, has this unique feature to its credit: The Tallest Samai (lamp) or the Dnyandeep! It is oil lamp. It takes 75 liters of edible oil to fill up the metal lamp fully. Every fifth day of the full moon and the new moon, is the auspicious day set for lighting up the lamp. The oil filling task starts around the evening and completes by the sunset and then the lamp is lit. The video shows the oil filling and the lit up lamp in the night!
