  • the several photos do have the multitude of color and timbre that this great piece for cello does. The changes are amazing ; the ground of Pinks& greys & the brown dead leaf are quite good . The cello music is fine indeed reminds me of course of the arpeggios in the first bach suite in G. But SAARIAHO comes close and then far out and around .Wonderful music !

    Pour accompagner l'œuvre de Kaija Saariaho, il fallait des images d'une apparence sobre : peu de couleurs, quelques empreintes, des traces, des ombres, des craquelures, quelque chose de flou et lumineux en même temps — c'est une si belle œuvre.
