love me some hitchens!

I don't understand why Hitchen's and other's thought/think that what is written in the Bible encourages slavery. Isn't one of the main points that people take from the story of Moses leading the slaves out of Egypt that slavery is immoral? Somebody enlighten me

can dawkins take his place, if not (not about his capability) let a combination of people stand up for the truth.

@jismjacket you are truly privelged to have a such an honest man for a friend.

Debate over; Hitchens and the atheists win. The only possible points to be made by believers have been refuted: Religion or divine edict is NOT the necessary basis of ethics or morality; aesthetics ARE a human invention; so-called evidence of "irreducible complexity" in the latest incarnation of the argument by design CAN eventually be explained by evolution. Dawkins most expertly, with an elegant explanation of the mechanisms of evolution, refutes the latter in most detail.
