@mikewill9511 Also to be clear of something, this video is WAY TOO OLD, Tarja is "only" my third favorite singer right now haha I forgot to mention that..my No.1 signer is Helena Iren Michaelsen from Imperia, second is Maite Itoiz singer of Elfenthal..

@mikewill9511 When I watch band and singers perform live I do not pay attention to how they manage to sing those extra hard notes etc, I am in a different world and I am having fun and there is just too many emotions going on at the same time..Okay I sure I can notice the mistakes she does, and you are right she does sound like a strangled turkey in songs like Wishmaster and Wish I had an Angel, but I forgive her and it becomes past for me the second minut :)

@Epica90 No! I like Tarja very much, as I am a NW fan as I have already said before. It's just that I don't like her that much live. I mean, she sometimes sounds good, and other times sounds like a turkey being strangled. But I am not starting a fight here. And your opinions arent another page in a book for me. I really do care!

@mikewill9511 I guess people just are different, the same way like a cure or a treatment may respond good for you but negative for me, you may love and even bathe in chocolate icecream while I would drown in my own vomits (okay didn't mean to sound disgusting here xd) I may worship Tarja for the emotions she invokes while its just another page in a long book for you, get my point?

@Epica90 I know there are tons of classical singers who probably wipes up the floor with Tarja when it comes to live singing, I have seen Lori, Heidi Pervianen, Annlouice (she is swede like me xD), Floor, Simone, Catherin Paulsen, Vibeke Stene, the former opera singer of Coranatus and many more to even count. I would admit they all techniqally sounded better but on the emotional platform I would disagree and that is strictly just my own personal taste and it differs with everyone.

@Epica90 I agree with the thought of the holics calling her the Goddess. I explained about sustaining a whole opera because of that reason- Tarjaholics say she's the best opera singer in the world (kill me). I just wish there were more people like you that admits she's good but also gives the rest of the credit to other singers (some better than her). She's good but not a Goddess. :) Hope we agree in that.

PS: I am a classical singer, that's why I am so strict with these type of voices.

@mikewill9511 Also my fullest honest opinion, Skills and techniques maters SHIT for me, I will not like a singer a tiny bit more because she has had 10 years of classical lessons, its the tone in her voice and the sound my ears are translating to emotions in my brain that maters, I could be loving Madona or Beyonce more than Tarja with the knowledge that they are less skilled singers...Also its my opinion that if someone is too skilled she ends up having no colour or tone at all
