The most beautiful melody and the most beautiful playing I have heard for a long time. I cannot stop crying. What wonderfully controlled playing. Thanks so much. Can we hear more of you? Brian Manton

A piece of music composed by Handel Parker during his tenure as musical director to Haworth Band and first aired in the bandroom under Handel's baton. The title 'Deep Harmony' was inspired by a then fellow bandsman who was 'deeply' moved by the melody and underlying harmonies.
Handle Parker would have been proud of this performance as was he of his composition. To this day you can see the music inscribed on his gravestone at Shipley (Nab Wood).

If you like this hymn tune played by a Brass Band listen also to a version played by a small Salvation Army Ensemble, Favourite Hymn Tunes No:3 - Good Friday 2010.
Worth a listen.

I am not a brass band expert, but I don't think it can get much better than this! A wonderful, moving reading ... amazing expression, concentration and control!
