Thats a really horrible comment to make man. You can't go around saying that people who believe in a post-trib rapture don't have the spirit, thats ridiculous.

I believe in a post-trib for many reasons, yet i know there are also believers who know Christ who may believe in pre-trib. Its a serious topic for me because of the current state of the world, and the potential consequences of christian's not being at all prepared for the tribulation because they're convinced they wont be in it.

I also believe in pre-trib rapture not because of Darby or Jack Van Impe but that is the only logical way to understand the prophecies. There were Jews who denied the way Jesus came the first time in spite of the clear message of Isa 53, there will be people denying the rapture in spite of the plain clear teaching of the NT.

I am stunned at how many people have trouble with the harpazo. Jesus said "I go to prepare a place for you". The place is obviously somewhere besides Earth. He comes to receive us so that we can be where he is (in Heaven). At the second coming, he comes to rule on the Earth. Think of Enoch as a type of the church, that will help.

The rapture is biblical. The pre-tribulation timing is what is not biblical. Also, the wedding supper takes place on earth on Mount Zion according to Old Testament prophecy. Also, Jesus comes FOR His bride.

Dave is confused. Post-tribbers believe in a Rapture because it is biblical. What is not biblical is a PRE-tribulation rapture. Also, the wedding supper is on earth on Mount Zion. It's in the ot.

Dave is mixed up - he assumes that the Kingdom of Christ did not come in AD 30 and that Jesus does not rule presently, from the Right Hand of God -which is David's Throne (Acts 2).

Heb 10:12,13 Jesus expects His enemies to be put under His Feet - in this age. There is nothing in the NT that says Jesus must return to earth and rule here. He rules from Heaven - now.

Jn 6:39,40,44,54 The Rapture/Resurrection is at the Last Day - not 1007 yrs before.

John 14- Jesus is not going away to heaven, but to be crucified. He is spiritually preparing a place for us by taking our penalty on the cross.
