The message Evangelical Christians teach their children is to hate gay people. The majority of Evangelical Christians believe the same way Fred Phelps and his people believe and its no big deal to make fun of gay people or kill them. Sad!

It's tough coming out. It's something that takes balls... guts... whichever term you prefer. Either way, someone should be commended for being honest about who they are. They shouldn't be killed for it... If anything, people should be condemned for hiding who they are because that's pathetic. I don't understand why people do things like this. It's really horrifying.

Btw, after watching this video. I looked up articles about this, it is SO astounding about how the articles are calling Brandon "a sweet faced boy" etc etc as if it was okay that he decided to shoot Larry in the head in a classroom full of people. I have no faith in our society any longer.

When I heard about this it broke my heart and to this day it still does. I have a lesbian aunt and a gay uncle and to me there is no difference between them and my other aunts and uncles. I proudly support the GBLT community and I hope people begin to understand that being gay isn't wrong. There is nothing wrong because if being gay is wrong then hell being straight is wrong. If you are going to discriminate on same sex couples than discriminate against ALL couples.
