Kim Ponder's Story

Desert Storm veteran and acclaimed author Kim Ponders has served as an instrument of American foreign policy before and knows firsthand the human costs of decisions made in Washington. Our fighting men and women will carry out their orders to the best of the ability, she believes, but the onus remains on civilian leaders to select the right mission and battlefield. The former Air Force officer and part-time speechwriter for the Pentagon supports Barack Obama because he has demonstrated the judgment to repair America's image abroad and use our armed forces wisely.
