Registered AWR First Premium Sport Pony, also Reg Half Welsh (Half QP). 13.-13.1 hands, 5 year old, black mare with belly spot, 4 socks and a blaze. Sierra is reddish in the video as she is just starting to shed her winter coar, she will be BLACK when done. Sweet mare that was started under saddle in just Oct. '06. Fences at end of video are set to 16", 18" and 2'. She does jump higher, but we don't like to push our young horses! Will be shown W/T/C and 2' at next show near the end of April. Surprisingly, this mare is STILL for sale! I know the market is bad, but come on people this is a TOP quality mare! She is now being used for the occasional advanced beginner lesson. This mare would be perfect for the child that is comfortable doing flat work and ready to start jumping! She is getting her auto changes most of the time now, too! She will NOT refuse a jump and easily cleard 2'6" with room to go higher! We need to move her, so will accept reasonable offers!

She is such a cute pony. Has she learned how to jump bounces besides lines? She sounds very nice. How high can she free jump?

Thank you. She has done a few bounces, nothing too high yet, as she is still green over fences and we don't like to push them while their young. We have not free jumped her recently, but I'm sure she will easily go to 3'6" free jumping and EASILY 3' witha rider with a little more time and training.

Thank you for the comment. Sierra IS a cute pony and nice mover. She came to us for training and eventual sale, and while we like her enough to keep her, she does need to find a child or small adult of her own. Thanks again. PS-We never taught her to free lunge like you see in the video, she does have a whole arena to run, but chose to circle her "trainer" :)

Sierra is 13.1 hands (she has been officially measured at 13.0 1/2 and 13.1), so this would mean she is about 53 inches. Thanks for your comment, she is a sweet and cute pony!

Is this pony still for sale? If so how much? Where is she/he located? And is the pony just as quiet with a child riding? Your rider is a little tooooo big for this pony and needs to improve on her jumping being that big on these little ponies. You put a small child on them and the ponies can tend to get quicker. Thanks
