Please visit the 7 Hour School Week website for the stories, strategies, and steps I used to ace 2 top colleges in 1 hour a day, travel the world VIP style at backpacker prices, and start 3 businesses--all in 2 years.

Yet, my greatest success is the one no one ever knows about—how I recreated my life even after my body was crippled, my dreams were crushed, and my world crumbled. To find out my full story, please visit:

  • The most vital part is understanding that the writer is yet another person sharing his/her personal views and accumulated facts. No one book can be exhaustive, so unless your aim is to find the viewpoint of the particular writer don't get hung up on each and every word written in the book. Refer to different sources and develop your own unique understanding.

  • do u even understand what u ready? anyone can read fast, but can anyone read fast and comepletely understand the ideology behind what u read?

  • lol...Yeah and then he became Chuck Norris!!!!!

Here a research of NASA proves that photoreading is a fraud...!!Did anybody know it???

  • @GIFT1FROM1THE1GODZ Don't you understand that they fed some guy different material mixed up and he could not tell the difference because he was speed reading? How is his comprehension better if he can't tell the difference between two different texts!

  • @7Mefisto Note taking is always a good way to remember things in a pinch. putting a sticky note on important sections in a book is also a very good way to get information quickly, as seen in this video :-)

apparently i made it seem like they have photographic memories and remember everything forever and stuff, all i'm saying is that they read a lot faster with improved comprehension , because they read in phrases which the mind understands more easily then word for word.

  • What I personally got from speed reading that is, off course, undeniable is permanent damage to my eyes using that crappy program for speed reading I found on the internet!

  • @GIFT1FROM1THE1GODZ So in other words. If you could learn this fast you would be able to go through high school in a week at most. You could be able to learn a foreign language in 1 month or so. Guess what - it takes around 5 years to learn German with without visiting the country off course. If you would read George Leonard's book you would learn that this climax after climax stuff that is advertised on Tv it's a big hoax.

  • @GIFT1FROM1THE1GODZ Claims that speed readers comprehend just as well as ordinary readers are probably spurious. In one early comprehension test speed readers scored a seemingly respectable 68 percent. But it turned out the test was so easy that people who had never read the material at all scored 57 percent.

  • @GIFT1FROM1THE1GODZ Several trained speed readers were once asked to read a doctored text in which the even-numbered lines came from one source and the odd-numbered lines from another.

The speed readers read the material three times (average speed: 1,700 words per minute) and claimed to understand it. But they never noticed it consisted of two separate passages mixed together.
