I've seen this band every time they've played the Sacramento/Bay Area and they nail it every time. A highly underated band. Sure there's elements of Barrett era Floyd in the music but there's also a lot of ancient Italian melodies infused in their work, making them a very unique sounding band. Every release of theirs is a stunner. Make sure you get to see them live the next time they come around.

I agree Floyd were great until the wall then they sucked.. 13 Floor Elevators don't hold a candle to jenifer gentle this band are something else.. They are like syd barrett era floyd meets felini film soundtrack with Joe meek production.. Awesome band.. a complete one off..

They have elements of Barrett era floyd and maybe with a bit of the bonzos, but they are not just copyist. This band is quite unique. A pearl in a sea of mediocrity, and a group who will blow sebadoh off the stage.. i love them.
