I power washed, then applied the deck prep after and brushed it in etc as recommended. Same situation.
Called Behr, "do you have the original receipt?" Nope. "That's fine buy new product and we will refund you" send the UPCs from the products you used., I sent upc from 2 cans of stain i had left. Tried the deck stripper doesn't work, what did stick WON'T COME OFF without sanding, called them and got a nope never got the letter, you're SOL. Garbage product & bad CS.
NEVER USE BEHR.

ok. I wasted a couple more minutes of my life and watched the video one last time. You only said you painted the deck a year prior to to application. You DID NOT state whether or not it was power washed nor did you state if it was a brand new deck. DID YOU BRUSH IT ON OR WHAT?

I purchased this product for my front porch. Surfaces were properly prepped, product was properly applied. . It has been on five months, and I can literally rub my foot across it and see the stain rub off of the wood. BTW, I do work in the paint department at our local Home Depot. I am expected to promote Behr products, but after seeing how quickly this product failed, I cannot in good conscience recommend it to customers..

@usmelly Right, everyone knows behr makes the best coatings on the planet. Well everyone but professionals who apply coatings every day.
Not only do I know its not the best product on the market, I have no faith in Consumer Reports

I like this video,,,,,,,,,,,,,my issue is with my labor,,,,,,,,,,,,,and Behr crap paints coverage,,,,,,,of alot of their products,,,,,,,,,a person could waste time putting coat after coat,,,,,,,the paint sags and runs,,,,,,,
First of all, how was this product applied? Was it rolled on? Sprayed with an airless? Or was it brushed on? Also, did it get power washed before applying the stain? If it wasn't power washed and brushed on I would believe it probably would't hold up. Note to anyone with a complaint about anything. Explain your application techniques.

@brnikko if you had bothered to listen to the video or scroll down and read some of my comments, you would know how the product was applied. Note to anyone with a complaint about someone with a complaint-take the time to read.

Well, 2 years in and my two-tone Behr Premium Solid deck got a quick refresh. NONE of the white railing required any touch up. The dark-chocolate deck stain had little peeling, and still looked fine, if not new. This surface heats up to 130 deg F and gets down to sub- zero deg. F temps in the winter. Total time to paint my 15x15 deck floor? 1.5 hrs. 1.5 hrs in 2 years for upkeep. That aint bad. Consumer Reports ranks this product #1.

@usmelly Really? that is unbelievable. Literally un believable. Although a guess anything is possible. A stopped clock still has the correct time twice a day. I noticed this is at least the second time you have posted a comment touting how wonderful this product is. Are you sure you don't work at the paint department at Home Depot?

Is it not because your deck is too low to the ground? They won't refund you because your deck does not meet their requirements in order for the product to work properly. you need approx 24" of clearance in order to allow moisture to escape. It is going to push up. Try any other product, you WILL get the same result.

@JYPD1 Interesting, but I have not found this to be true. The Behr product failed just as bad on the top of my arbor which is 7 feet off the ground. Also when I removed this product and switched to Olympic last year, I had much better results.
