hip hop music is not bad, as awesomenessIAC said, its a joyful noise to the Lord, but most hip hop is bad, why? becausse of the lyrics? not necessarily, cuz some songs have innocent lyrics but the beat, believe it or not, are sometimes dedicated to satan!!! hip hop is not satan music any more than it is jesus music. some people ask "how can u tell if the artist is makin music that glorifies satan?" look at the fruit of the artist, pray, and watch the holy spirit show u. MATTHEW 7:20

@MetalAlways95 ...He is simply talking about eating food. Rom. 2:1 is a verse which is addressing judging hypocritically, while doing the same sin ourselves, which I haven't. I've removed the sin from my life by true REPENTANCE. The passage does not mean that we must never judge sin to be sin. Jesus taught in Matt. 7, that those who are living right are qualified to tell other people to live right.
You are taking verses out of context in an attempt to stop me from judging rightly.

@MetalAlways95 Romans14 is a passage which is talking about people who were angry with what others were not eating, & whether or not others observed special festivities associated with Judaism, (not occult festivites, or any clear violation of God's laws). The apostle Paul says there is nothing wrong with eating or not eating (Rom.7:6-8). THEIR DISSAGREEMENT was NOT about a RIGHT OR WRONG ISSUE. It really was a morally neutral issue. So Paul says, do not judge one another HERE.

@serenityluvsgod So how are we supposed to reach those who like hip hop music? What makes hip hop satan's music? And it's Lecrae. "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord." This is definitely a joyful noise. And even if they are exploiting Jesus' name for money, Jesus' name is getting out there a lot faster and better using hip hop as a medium.
amen
