  • How do you navigate with this plane?

  • @aaokiwan you navigate using VORs or you can "cheat" and use the GPS by switching the nav/gps switch to gps mode. Press shift F5 for the navigation map

  • @LSEdwards where is the nav/gps switch? all i see are radio switches on the center console...?

  • @aaokiwan you can set a key combination (I use CTRL-U) in the keyboard assignments. There isn't a switch on the panel, sorry I should have said this in my original reply). If you switch to GPS mode you will have to remember you have done this and switch back to NAV mode to use the ILS to land.

  • never heard of the game before , so please do not be hard to me , i got some questions about it , ...is this like ...A REAL sim??.....like every detail is taken into simulation , even de/icing and turbulence ...i just pick some ..........and also rain dificulty,s?, ...the game looks absolutely wonderfull , and its a joy to watch this footage , for me the 5th time sinds i discovered the footage ...thank you , you know how to give a good impression of a game , i will buy , absolutely

  • @euphoritch The de-icing isn't modelled, but the rain effects work in VC and the wipers make an awful noise if the rain stops. In turbulence the aircraft groans as the wings flex.

  • @Megabonanza11 lol RTFM

When you takeoff you are supposed to lower the power so you won't burn the engines.

It's not a pain in the ass, flying a carrier based F-14 may be a pain in the ass, they say the 80's aeroplanes were the most complicated of all time.

Don't worry, once you figure out how all it works you'll find it pretty easy.

Considering you have a flight engineer onboard.. They have an addon for one..

I mean flying the B377 without engineers THAT would be hard..

  • Could someone tell me what's the purpose of the Boost button for starting? What does it do exactly to the engine? It doesn't run faster as I can see.

  • this plane is a pain in the ass, too many problems when i fly,

  • At first im all like silly durp thats a 737 not a 337..then im like "Oh"

  • Are you in SF Bay area?

  • The main thing is to keep the engines from over heating by using the cowl flaps and power setting correctly. If you do this your engines will last a long time. You can leave the fuel lever on rich also. That helps.

  • i do all that and still my engines are smoking

  • you have to do all that ???

no wonder i have it for like 40 minutes and i can't get it up

although t i did come close to taking off once

    until my engines exploded

  • @LSEdwards Thanks for the reply. This is just an awesome plane. I came across this plane by accident looking for something else. Still learning her.
