I was at this show and remember Evel, the turbine dragster and the drag bike. His million dollar rig was incredible. I remember dragway 42 and like most others, I now go to Norwalk. Great show !
Miss you Evel !!!!!!!

Great to see your film. I was a young teen in the 70's and followed everything Evel did. No one my age will ever forget the whole buildup to the Snake River Canyon Jump. Nobody like that anymore.
Evel deserves his spot in history !!!

Thanks for taking the time to watch. It's funny how some people's lives seemed destined for legend. Evel was just one of those who never looked back. Thanks again...

He had been in failing health for years, suffering from diabetes and pulmonary fibrosis, an incurable condition that scarred his lungs. Knievel had undergone a liver transplant in 1999 after nearly dying of hepatitis C, likely contracted through a blood transfusion after one of his bone-shattering spills. He also suffered two strokes in recent years. Knievel had trouble breathing at his Clearwater condominium and died before an ambulance could get him to a hospital in Dec. 2007.
