A video I made from pictures that I took and from the media while attending funeral services for Deputy Anthony Forgione. I never met him but felt as though this video HAD to be made!
Deputy Anthony Forgione was shot and killed while attempting to arrest a suspect who had escaped from custody while he was under going a mental evaluation at a local hospital.
The suspect had returned to his childhood home and barricaded himself inside. Negotiators attempted to talk him out of the home. The SRT team entered the home after the negotiators failed to receive a response from inside. As the team entered, the suspect opened fire and killed Deputy Forgione. Other deputies inside the home returned fire. It was later found that the suspect had killed himself.
Deputy Forgione had served with the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office for three years and had previously served with the Fort Walton Beach Police Department. He is survived by his wife and two young daughters.

RIP Officer Forgione. Also, I'd like to say RIP to both the officers that lost their lives up the road from my house April 25th. There is no reason to shoot an officer, maybe some people disagree with some of the laws, but that's no reason to take the lives of innocent people putting their lives on the line to keep our cities safe.
To the surviving families of all three of the Okaloosa County Sheriff Department Officers killed in action, my heart goes out to you. Be strong!!

I haven't met any cops I really ever liked but this guy. I didn't remember his name until the unfortunate event that took his life but he was one cop that I had the upmost appreciation for. From a criminal to a cop I'll never forget who you were or what you did for me. Rest in peace my man and I'll see you on the other side.
