OK, so here's a little something about THE funniest exchange in here: "It's time!" "No, it's Newsweek..." :))) According to my fave NX fansite (http://home.comcast.net/~mcnotes/mcnotes.html), "in THAT ISSUE of 'Newsweek' that Joel was reading and displaying (July 18, 1990, page 64), the series, NX, got a very, very favorable review"! Haha... Nothing better than a really lame inside joke, huh? :)

Yes, I recall that issue of Newsweek! There were copies of it around on the set that day. The props person might have made a call to Joshua Brand to get an okay to drop it in, a sort of subtle "product placement" and shameless self-promotion. Well, we were all very happy that the show had recently won an Emmy and was the #1 show in its time slot(10pm Monday nights, back then). I always thought that many of the crew members could fit in as characters on the show. A fun era!
