I have an official booklet from Cherry Lane Music where ALL specifically Metallica Load songs are on, and there, I just couldn't figure it out to sound right. Now I can experiment a little myself. Thank you :)

Man, thank you so much for making this cover. Hero of The Day is one of my all-time favourite metallica songs, a song I am learning to play myself as well and you did a very very good and accurate job.
I was wondering; are you barring one the strings with your 1. finger in the latter part of the verse?
