Well humans have impacted climate change. Did we do it enough effect nature? I say yes. But he also said a wolf did come from Canada, but does not say how it got there. I am assuming an ice bridge.

I would agree they should introduce 2 more females. Only because we are part of the problem.

I have emailed the NPS about this, and they are going to let nature take its course if in fact wolves go extinct on the island (which actually looks like it may happen). They basically have to because it is also a designated Wilderness Area and an international Biosphere. I hope wolves will stay. I would say introduce one or two just for the fact they can diversify the family DNA and have less deformities.

I don't believe we should introduce new females to the wolf pack of Isle Royale. I think we should let nature take it's course if the 2 remaining females don't produce any female pups before they die. I don't feel changing things such as the Isle Royale animal dynamics is the answer for this study. Let us let nature take it's course and see what happens. Maybe ice bridges from the mainland will again be, things will change to the best on it's own.
