Im thinking about getting a Heritage Rough Rider with a 3" barrel for concealed carry. It is a single action 6 shot revolver that can shoot 22lr and 22 wmr. Do you think this will work for self defense if I use 22 wmr rounds?

@andrewvanrhoberts ...I always say the best gun or knife is the one you have. If that's what you have availible or choose to carry that's your choice!

Some people might disagree with me but, small caliber firearms in .22 mag or say like my Ruger LCP in .380 auto can be good defensive weapon. Better to have one of those than a guy who carries only big guns then the day he needs it leaves his .45 acp in the car or at home. What good does that do?

I dont know why so many people comment like "you dont need two knives, this or that is over kill ... etc".

They are not the ones carrying the weight, if he wants to carry 10 knives and 2 guns on him he's free to do so.He's not making you carry it.

Instead of asking him why he carries "too much weapons" ask yourself if you carry enough of them.
