no but you should upgrade to the 3g or 3g S because the 3g iphones Dropped majorly in price you can buy it unlocked for 200 dollars

I totally agree, if not for the 3G capabilities, obvious speed differentiations and assortment of cases available for the 3G, the iPhone 2G would have been my phone by now.
