ArcAttack employs a unique DJ set up of their own creation to generate an 'electrifying' audio visual performance. The HVDJ pumps music through a PA system while two specially designed DRSSTC's (Dual-Resonant Solid State Tesla Coils) act as separate synchronized instruments. For what it's worth:

I happened to aquire a free ticket to the Makers Faire in San Mateo California on May 22 2010 (first time i ever went) as i was walking to the inside building Arkattack started their show looked interesting so i walked over and began filming using my Sony "G" HD video camera and realized as i was filming that the music sounded familiar thinking nothing of it. Then after uploading the raw video onto youtube and finally the first ten post came in on this video one of which the user stated that this is the Doctor Who Theme Song lol then i finally realized whoa i remember watching the Doctor Who show years ago. I had no idea that the video i filmed of ArcAttack's performance would get so many views in such a short time. Then later on it dawned on me whoa i actually unkowingly became a maker at the Makers Faire lol :D

i am looking (and have been for months) for a schematic of these coils, and exactly how they do this isn't clear (i'd imagine it's guitar input to midi, which enters a switching circuit) but i am unsure. if anyone could help me out that would be great, as i'm hoping to build one as a school project (and fo concert)
