The Babys were a popular British rock group of the late 1970s.
In May, 1978, The Babys visited Japan for promotion.
They went to Asakusa for sightseeing.
And, they played with fans in the T-shirt shop in Tokyo.

Best Baby's song and an incredible masterpiece! The story, the melody, the build of this song moved me the first time I heard it. Thank you Stan for having this album in our college apt!

@SNOWCHILD1011 , you hit old musicans soft spot, i saw john at the tropicana ampatheather by accident in 78 in vegas, i said in passing him, you sounded great, as the band passed he said " sure" he seemed so unhappy, i read later, he got a divorce from the love of his life in pursuit of the music career, i believe it ripped him apart, as a natural born vocals, and as hard and insane as the business is, choices in life like this can debilatate , i have no doubt he's seen this,,,,, good times..

That "ghost" behind them at 1:12 reminds me of the film "Shutter," done in Japan. I guess it's some smoke from the temple incense.
