The four people who disliked this vidio are obviously NOT HIGHLAND DANCERS - And do not understand what it takes to be what these guys are. CHAMPIONS. I have been A highland dancer since I was 8 and I have been to many different competitons - Where all of the lads that I compete against give me a run for my money!

This is an inspiration to all dancers!

not sure if it's true but I read once that there used to be a Scots saying that on the battlefield "you can't trust a man who can't dance".even if it's not true, I think it has some truth to it.Scottish dancing is supremely athletic, works flexibility and endurance and strength all at the same time it seems.Plus it works the balance and you could imagine a warrior-dancer like this never getting knocked off his feet and being able to move like a wild cat if he wanted. It's all very impressive

Love it!!! Aside from the fact that guys who stick with it are AMAZING dancers, there is nothing "easy" or "girly" about Highland Dance : ) (Earl of Errol 4evr)

I very impressed. Alot of people don't know this highland dancing at one time was forbidden by women. The sword dance was a dance of victory or done before going into battle.
Cheers to all
