I found a High Def mp4 movies forum and would like to share with everyone.

Don't you need to convert the movies to mp4 before you add them to iTunes?
In your video, how do you just download it & add it to Apple TV without converting it?

The movie format needs to be mp4 QuickTime not avi divx won't play on apple tv and won't download into iTunes

wouldnt it be easier and cheaper to just connect your mac to your tv and buy an IR remote? this seems kind of redundant...

can i double click on a song and automatically play it on apple tv? i have the computer in other room, and i'm planning to get all my media to the tv directly but i want the possibility to control the music from the mac an not from the apple tv

@kshaughnessey - After downloading what? A movie? One time I downloaded a movie, imported it and started watching it. I was so thrilled! The movie was fantastic, then 10 minutes from the end.. the movie stopped playing. It seemed that the file I downloaded was incomplete. Sometimes the files are missing audio. If this is your issue, I would try downloading the same file again, and see if that fixes the issue. If not, I'd try another file. Does this help?
