I'm guessing u have the 4 gb Slim model, and want to expand ur memory with ur old xbox 360's hdd. Well u can! I'll b showing u how to take the hard drive out of it's case, put it into the slim, and how it can be taken out. I AM NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE OR PROBLEMS. I did it a couple times and it seems pretty safe. Just be careful and try not to damage the hard drive. You can pick up a 20gb online for about 20$. Enjoy and Subscribe!

    HOW DID YOU KNOW?

  • I did that but where is my hardrive on my 360? its not showing it only show the unit thing.

  • @Galeno2024 you can also by a xbox 360 slim hard drive cover for like 2 bucks on ebay to cover up that hard drive

  • if I bought a 500GB 2.5" laptop hard drive and put it in just like that would it work for downloading and installing games on my xbox console

  • great video man. keep up the good work.

  • This whole video could have been avoided if at the beginning u just said get a transfer cable du

  • @ShatterFx Y would u need to take apart the slim hard drive

  • Thanks, very helpful! I didn't have the Torx T6 so I also just hacked my way through the casing until I could get to the inner portion. It takes a while but it can be done.

Then I stacked a few thin Lego strips under the drive in the Slim cavity, it's perfectly snug!

Great vid, can't believe anyone would thumbs down this vid when the instructions are so clear.

  • dude thanx so much!!!
